High-resolution 3D Seismic Exploration Technology of Daqing Exploration Area

Abstract: Daqing Oil Field has strengthened the efforts for study of high-resolution 3D seismic exploration technology in the recent three years and gradually developed its highresolution 3D seismic data acquisition, processing and interpretation technological families, which are suitable for lithological exploration of shallow and middle-depth layers and thin layers in the northern part of Songliao Basin, deep-layer natural gas exploration in the area and exploration of complicated faulted blocks in Hailaer Fault Depression. The quality of seismic data has been raised continually. In the northern part of Songliao Basin, the reflection video frequency is 70 ~ 80Hz for the seismic data T1, the reflection video frequency 60 ~ 70Hz for the seismic data T2, and the reflection video frequency is about 40Hz for the seismic data T5. In Hailaer Basin, the reflection video frequency is 55~60Hz for the seismic data T2 and the reflection video frequency about 45Hz for the seismic data T5. Daqing Oil Field conducted high-resolution 3D seismic survey for 4730.7 km2 between 2001 and 2003. Those technology have played a key role in boosting the reserves of lithologic oil reservoirs in the northern part of Songliao Basin, discovering the large-scale natural gas reservoir of deep-layer volcanic rock in the basin and high-yield faulted block oil reservoirs in Xing??anling in Hailaer Basin, and making breakthroughs in exploration of Budatecun buried hill oil reservoir and Tongbomiao lithologic oil reservoir.
