  • Originality and plagiarism

            In order to protect the author and reader's rights and interests, maintain the quality and reputation of Chinese Petroleum Exploration, all the manuscripts will be checked (including incoming manuscripts and published documents). Once identified as academic misconduct, such as plagiarism, forgery, tampering, improper signature, multiple submissions of a manuscript or other academic malpractice, it will be rejected and seriously handled according to the situations. Please cherish the academic reputation, respect academic publishing standards, abide by the scientific ethics and integrity.

    Please guarantee that you agree the terms before submitting:

    (1) Originality. The results of this paper are confirmed to be original, and there is no fabrication and tampering of data. The research results of other scholars mentioned in this paper are properly quoted and marked.

    (2) No multiple submissions. The papers submitted did not submit to other editorial departments before receiving rejection letters or employment notifications or change part of the text of the same research results to submit to other editorial departments.

    (3) All the co-authors agree with the conclusions of the paper. Guarantee that they are aware of the paper and agree with submission.

    (4) The number of the sponsored project is correctly marked in the paper.

    (5) The research results in this paper do not conflict with the ownership of other researchers.

    Copyright Policies

    We require transfer of copyright for all our publications, including conference proceedings.     Copyright during peer-review

    ·         We require that authors provide a temporary transfer of copyright to facilitate the peer review process.

    ·         If the paper is accepted for publication, a permanent transfer of copyright will be required.

    ·         The author must agree not to submit the paper for review or publication elsewhere while under review by China Petroleum Exploration.

    ·         If the paper is not accepted for publication, full copyright will revert to the original owner.
