Abstract: The geological structure is complex in Zhongyuan area, and there are a lot of small fault-blocks in this area, at the same time original seismic data are severely dominated by linear noise and multiple waves. According to the characteristic of original seismic data in this area, firstly linear noise and multiple are removed, then Kirchhoff prestack time migration (KPSTM) is carried out on the data, whilst aperture and frequency limits are tested. The final processing effect is obvious, and velocity picking conflict problem in crossing strata is effectively resolved.

Key words: Kirchhoff prestack time migration (KPSTM), multiple wave, linear noise, migration aperture, frequency
