Abstract: This thesis briefs about themain methods to increase the reserves of Long-611 Block in the eastern depression of Liaohe Basin by means of the advanced technology. The whole process is a progressive exploration to search for the reserves. First of all, the geologists make analysis of the geological issues existing in the area to locate the horizons accurately. A number ofmethods are used to interpret the structure and confirm the interpretations with each other. Based on location of the structures, the integrated geological study is conducted to find Long-2 Trap, and the southern expanded peripheral area of Longqi-13. The newly additional natural gas in place is 6.58(108m3, creating a successful model for progressive exploration of the high maturing exploration area.
